They participated in the scientific research project of "research and development of lifting system of 400ft jack-up drilling platform" approved by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, and they also presided over the sub-project of "rack assembly". Here are the main achievements of this research and development project:

1) Master the precision flame cutting technology of large thickness and high strength structural steel;

2) Complete the research on the micro-mechanism of high-strength structural steel welding and master the welding process technology.

3) Master the compressing molding technology of large curvature of a thick-walled chord;

4) Finish the manufacture of the rack assembly, and pass the test and get the approval of the American Bureau of shipping.
